The Vision of Living Water Discipleship Ministry

 

A Disciple is one who is actively seeking a growing relationship with God, who is submitted to His Will, and desires to follow His commands and spread the Good News.  Discipleship is the process by which believers grow in relationship to Jesus Christ and are equipped by the Holy Spirit to grow more and more Christ-like.  Here at Living Water, we desire to assist believers in their walk with Christ.  While all ministries have elements of discipleship, we believe that the most effective discipleship occurs through personal relationships: “Relationships are Everything!”  With that in mind, the discipleship ministries at Living Water include: Small Group Ministry, Men’s Ministry,  Adult Education Fellowship, as well as several Bible studies. 

 

Small Group Ministry

 

Small Groups are an integral way of developing relationships with other believers, and ultimately with the Lord!  Small groups typically meet in private homes, although some meet in the church or other locations.  Small groups pray together, study together, worship together – there isn’t a “one set way” of doing Small Groups here at Living Water.  Their primary purpose is to get believers connected to support one another!  Small group ministry is a major part of Discipleship, and we encourage all believers to get connected in a small group!  Contact Bruce Fischer, 834-8074 or 239-3766 or e-mail bruce.fischer@wimadi.ang.af.mil if you are interested in this vital ministry.

 

Adult Education Fellowship

 

Get more out of your Sunday Morning Experience!  Join us for Adult Education Fellowship (AEF), in the Lower Level Youth Room at 9:00am for topical, Bible based studies.  Door’s open (and coffee is ready!) at 8:45 so that we can begin promptly at 9:00 and conclude at 10:00am, just in time to fellowship upstairs prior to the 10:30am worship service.  Children are welcome to Sunday’s Cool or the nursery during AEF.

 

Men’s Ministry

 

Men’s ministry is beginning at Living Water, with a solid core of dedicated Men.  The men are currently studying the Top Gun Ministries “Basic Training.”  

 

Bible Studies

 

Bible studies are a great way to learn God's Word.  Living Water offers a Bible Study every Monday morning at 9:30 am at the church.  Everyone is welcome! 

In addition, a Men's Bible Study meets every Tuesday morning from 5:30 - 6:30 am.  Start your day off "right with the Lord". Call the church office, 834-9899 for more details.
