Our History

Living Water started as a mission church formed by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and developed by Pastor Jon Gerdts.  The church held its first worship service on November 7, 1999 and became officially organized on December 3, 2000. We formerly met in the Sun Prairie Business Park at 686 Progress Way in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.  We built a beautiful new church (pictured above) and held our first worship service there on Sunday May 1, 2005!  We worship at 3075 Prospect Drive in Sun Prairie, WI in the southwest corner of the city in the Providence Neighborhood.  At Living Water, Relationships are Everything!  We believe that true, lasting friendships lie at the heart of the Christian life - first with God and then with others.  After all, that's what God wants for each one of us - to have a relationship that is close, personal and dependable. By providing a warm environment of contemporary worship, fellowship events, and small group gatherings where you are encouraged to "be yourself", Living Water strives to afford each person an opportunity to grow and find new hope in God and in the Christian community.
